-2007 NH Main Street Community of the Year
-Currently working on a Downtown "Action Plan" to redesign downtown. This economic strategy and design guide for the downtown will help identify the right mix of businesses and uses for the downtown as well as providing a template for the design.
-Held yearly events such as "Drive-In the 50's" and "Christmas Parade of Lights & Fireworks" in downtown
-Added many new flower boxes downtown providing beautification with a brilliant array of plantings
-Held forums for building code issues and participated in the Governors statewide task force on downtown development
-Held a volunteer spring clean-up
-Created unified promotions for downtown businesses including a group advertising campaign & a downtown visitor guide
-Produced newsletters to communicate downtown information
-Held a pledge drive and lobbied for city support
-Created an ongoing program of displays in empty storefronts
