City of Berlin, NH - Public Works Director

The City of Berlin, NH, is accepting applications for the full-time position of Public Works Director. The position includes full City benefits. This Department Head position, which reports directly to the City Manager, is responsible for overseeing all the operations and functions of the City’s Public Works Department which include streets, sanitation, garage, storm drain and wastewater collection. Candidates should have significant experience in supervising various public works functions in a union environment and must demonstrate a progressive path of growth and experience leading construction or municipal type operations. Candidates will preferably have a Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in supervising public works type operations or equivalent combination of training and experience. Pay will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
