The Detective Division is comprised of a Lead Detective, a Juvenile Officer/Detective, Detective, School Resource Officer and Detective Secretary. The Detectives are responsible for further investigations of all felonies and other crimes that require extended investigation. The Juvenile Officer assigned to the Detective Division is also responsible for following up on any serious crime whether the suspect and/or victim are a juvenile. The Juvenile Officer also is the prosecutor for juvenile court. The School Resource Officer also falls under the Detective
Division and is responsible for any crime committed or emergency service need within any of the Berlin Schools.
