If I have an emergency how do I contact the Police?

Dial 911 or call direct at 752-3131

Does the City of Berlin Have a parking ban?

Yes.  Per City Ordinance, no vehicle may be parked on any city street from November 1st through April 1st between the hours of midnight and 7 am.

How do I apply for a NH Concealed Weapon Permit?

You must apply with the Police Department of the town you reside in.  You can pick up an application at the Police Department or download one at http://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/nhsp/forms.html.  Once you have completed the application drop it off at the Police Department with a $10 processing fee. It usually takes up to 2 weeks for the application to be granted/denied.  You must check back, as we will not notify you when your permit is issued.  Once your permit is issued, you may pick it up at the Police Department.

How do I get a copy of any police records?

To obtain any records you must make a formal request by filling out a “records request form”.  Once the form and request is reviewed the records can be issued.  Records requests may not be supplied immediately, they are supplied as time and personnel allow.  There is a charge to obtain any records.  See fee schedule for these amounts.
