The Trail Blazers is our ATV unit. We currently have 2 fully equipped all-terrain vehicles and trailer. The vehicles enable the department to more effectively patrol the Trails, frozen ponds, and remote areas within the City. They also allow Officers to respond to calls for service in areas where a normal patrol vehicle would not be able to access. Officers serving on the ATV Unit have received advanced training in the use and safe operation of these vehicles. The vast majority of our officers are trained on these vehicles.
