GAME RESULTS

Celtics edged past Pistons 17-14. A tied 2-2 first quarter saw the Pistons break ahead with four points to the Celtics’ two in the second quarter for a 6-4 first half lead. Pistons maintained the lead in the third quarter by again outscoring the Celtics four points to three for the 10-7 fragile lead. Missed foul shots were the Pistons’ downfall in the fourth quarter as four attempts failed to connect as the Celtics took the opportunity to score 10 points to the Pistons’
four to overtake the lead and win the game 17-14. Sharing high scoring credits for the Celtics were Allison Theriault and Mike Moore with six points each followed by Trent Labrecque with three points and Ryan Bisson with two points. Pistons’ Tyler Mulligan led his team with eight points as teammates Samantha McCann, Cameron Boucher and Libby Nett each scored two points.

Pistons returned the next day to beat the Mets 22-14. A tight first quarter had the Pistons slightly ahead 4-3. Mets took over the lead in the second quarter by outscoring the Pistons four points to two for the 7-6 turnover. Pistons recharged in the second half scoring a strong 10 points to the Mets’ four to once again be the leader 16-11. Pistons remained aggressive in the final quarter hitting for six more points while keeping the Mets to three to secure a Pistons’ win 22-14. Tyler Mulligan once again shined for the Pistons with 16 points. Scoring two points each for the Pistons were Haley Coulombe, Keegan Law-As, and Lisa Robinson. Austin Couture Hinkley was the Mets’ top point getter with 11 points as Dylan Bisson scored two points and Ian Laroche one point.

Celtics took early control of their game and never let up in their 22-7 win over the Bulls. First quarter saw Celtics take a comfortable 10-2 lead but did slow a bit in the second with each team limited to two points each to continue the Celtics’ advantage 12-4 at the end of the first half. Two points were the name of the game for the Bulls as third quarter saw one more basket with the Celtics picking up their game to add six points to now lead 18-6. Final quarter was more of the same as Celtics outscored the Bulls four points to one to claim victory 22-7. Mike Moore was high scorer for the Celtics with eight points closely followed by Allison Theriault and Ryan Bisson with six points each and Trent Labrecque with two points. Broedy Gagnon, Justin Reed, and Kohl Barrett combined to score two points each for the Bulls with Justin Houle making a foul shot in the fourth quarter for the Bulls.
