Spring Recreation Programs
KINDERGARTEN & 1ST GRADE ACTIVITIES: Coed program that is easy to learn and fun to play!

Instructor Laura Ouellette will teach the basics to any boy or girl in kindergarten or first grade.

$30.00 for six week program. Register at the Berlin Recreation Center. Call 752-2010 for details on

the next session - Challenge Your Body - Challenge Your Mind starting March 31st.



RECREATION & PARKS COMMISSION: Commission meets ocassionally to discuss and

implement recreational programs and policies beneficial to Berlin area residents. Anyone interested

in a three year position should submit a letter of interest to Mayor Bertrand, c/o City Hall,

168 Main Street, Berlin. Have a voice in your community!



27TH ANNUAL EASTER "EGGSTRAVAGANZA:" Saturday, March 22 at the Berlin Recreation

Center. This is a fast, energetic activity. Free but donations are always gratefully accepted.

Groupings are as follows: Ages 2 & 3 - 9:30 a.m. Ages 4 & 5 - 9:45 a.m. Ages 6 & 7 - 10:00 a.m.

and Ages 8, 9, & 10 - 10:15 a.m.



COMMUNITY GARDENS: April is the month for last year's gardeners to come to Berlin Recreation Center

to reclaim their same lot. $10.00 for a 25 x 25' lot. As of May 1st it's first come-first serve for any

left over lots.



APRIL SCHOOL VACATION EVENTS: Join us for Cosmic Bowling on Wednesday, April 23.

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. $10.00 for bowling, pizza, soda & make your own sundae. Great price - great time! Register at the Berlin Recreation Center. Limited to first 40 registered. Any age or ability will have fun!

Game Day will be Thursday, April 24 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Join us for Vacation Bingo, Pass the Prize,

Up, Down, Middle Challenge and much more! Free and chance to win small prizes.



12TH ANNUAL GIANT INDOOR YARD SALE: SALE DATE HAS CHANGED TO
 

Saturday, April 26, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Turn your unwanted items into wanted cash!

$10.00 for a 10 x 15' space. Must bring own tables. Maximum of 15 spaces will be sold.

Recreation gym is usually full of treasures. Mark your calendar! Call 752-2010 if any questions but

no registrations will be taken over the phone. Only three spots left!



BERLIN RECREATION & PARKS SUMMER EMPLOYMENT: Applications now being accepted

for summer employment. Positions will last approximately eight weeks. Looking for sports instructors

and officials, playground and Kids Jamboree leaders, and maintenance assistants. Berlin Recreation

is an equal opportunity employer. Applications will remain open until all positions are filled.



KIDS JAMBOREE: Wondering what your 6 to 13 will have to do this summer? Enroll them in one or

all seven weeks of Kids Jamboree and they'll be plenty for them to do! Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. beginning June 30. Youngsters ages 6 to 13 will be involved in games, sports, crafts,

special events, bowling, library visits, and more. Call 752-2010 for more details.
