FEBRUARY, MAY, AUGUST & NOVEMBER QUARTERLY RATE CHARGES
for
INSTITUTIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL CUSTOMERS
The following rates shall be used for the April 1998 quarterly billing period and shall remain in effect until changed by the Board of Water Commissioners.

CUSTOMER CHARGE: $2.05 per Water Account
FOR INSTITUTIONAL CUSTOMERS THE FOLLOWING CHARGES SHALL BE BILLED FOR FIRE PROTECTION: $75.00 plus $0.10 per sprinkler fixture head per billing quarter.
In addition to the above and beginning with the January 1, 2001 quarter water bill, a separate assessment charge shall be billed quarterly as follows:
ASSESSMENT CHARGE: Quarterly assessment charge will be based upon the percent of customer billed water sales to total billed water sales for the previously billed quarter. This percentage will be multiplied by the total quarter assessment required to be collected to meet capital improvement debt.
EXAMPLE: If the billed water sales for your account are $3,015.49 and total billed water sales for the previous quarter are $244,724.82, your percentage would be 1.23%. This percentage is applied to the total quarterly Assessment required to be collected to meet Capital Improvement Debt. If debt is $278,400, assessment is 1.23% times $278,400 for an assessment charge of $3,424.32.
HOW TO COMPUTE YOUR QUARTERLY WATER BILL: If you use 175,000 cubic feet and have 800 sprinkler fixture heads, bill is $3,015.49 for water, $75.00 for fire protection, $80.00 for sprinkler fixture heads and $2.05 customer charge plus $3,424.32 for assessment to a total quarterly billing of $6,596.86.
