Nominate a Volunteer

CITY OF BERLIN VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION AWARD:  This award, given annually during April, Volunteer Awareness Month, is to recognize those who have done service to the municipality of Berlin.  A plaque will be awarded to each winner and a name plate will be installed on the public Volunteer Recognition Tree at Berlin City Hall.  Awards will be given in the following categories:

Recreation/Sports – volunteer who supports activities in the Berlin Recreation Department, Berlin School Sports Program or other City sponsored leisure events.

Humanities/Arts – volunteer who supports humanities and arts in the community such as the Berlin Public Library or Berlin Public Schools Arts and Music programs.

Education – volunteer in support of the Berlin Public Schools.

Government – volunteer on a city board or other function of the city government.

Grounds & Special Outdoor Projects – volunteer who assists in the care for city property, infrastructure, mowing, painting, etc.

           Nomination forms are available here or they can be picked up at Berlin Recreation Department, 672 First Avenue, Berlin.

Deadline is March 31st.
