Library
The Berlin Public Library (270 Main Street, Berlin) was built in 1903 with a $15,000 grant from the Andrew Carnegie Endowment Fund. A.I. Lawrence was the architect, and Steward and Snodgrass were the builders. This classically inspired building features red brick with lighter brick quoining. It has a monumental arched entrance and windows filled with glass block. Inside, there is an exhibit of Native American artifacts.
