FEMA Flood Map Information

See the proposed new flood maps for the City online - you can see them in two places:

  1. NH Granite Online Mapping Tool - This site will allow you to see the maps overlaid on aerial maps that show your home and the boundaries of the flood zone. You will need to zoom into Berlin and keep zooming in until you see street data. You will want to check off the Floodplains map layer and the Orthophotography may layer on the left side of the screen in order to see the floodplain and aerial mapping.
  2. FEMA Flood Maps - The second site is the official FEMA site for the flood maps, they may take a little time to load, please be patient, but this site provides the official proposed maps for the public to review.

If you have questions about the maps, please contact Jennifer Gilbert, NH Floodplain Management Coordinator at the NH Office of Energy and Planning, 271-1762.
