BIG NANSEN SKI JUMP REHABILITATION SITE WORK, MILAN, NH


Nansen Ski Club will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Big Nansen Ski Jump Rehabilitation
Site Work located in Milan, NH at the offices of HEB Engineers, Inc. (2605 White Mountain Highway, P.O.
Box 440, North Conway, NH 03860), until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 30, 2020, at which time the
Bid received will be publicly opened and read. Bids will be opened outdoors, if weather permits, or else in
the garage, at said Location. All attendees will be required to practice social distancing and wear a face
covering.

Work includes grading, shaping and finishing of the landing hill; construction of a cast-in-place concrete
retaining wall; and installing side protection railing along the landing areas.

Each Bidder is encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting at the Project Site on September 22, 2020 at 10
a.m. to tour the facility and become acquainted with the various work items. Those unable to attend are
encouraged to arrange a site visit with the Owner. All attendees will be required to practice social
distancing and wear a face covering.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents on www.constructionsummary.com. To be
considered a responsive Bidder, the Contractor shall have obtained at least one set of electronic or
paper plans and specifications from HEB Engineers, Inc. which may be obtained by calling (603) 356-6936
or by e-mailing jpoulin@hebengineers.com

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving
price, time or changes in the Work, and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and the
right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Also, Owner
reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest
of the Project to make an award to the Bidder, whether because the Bid is non-responsive, or the Bidder
is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria
established by the Owner.
