Community Development Block Grant Project –

Housing & Community Development Plan Adoption

The Berlin City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 7:30pm via Zoom. Community Development Block Grant funds are available to municipalities through the NH Community Development Finance Authority. Up to $500,000 annually is available for economic development projects, up to $500,000 for public facility projects, up to $500,000 for housing projects, up to $500,000 for emergency activities, and up to $25,000 is available per planning study grant. All CDBG projects must primarily benefit low and moderate income persons. The public hearing will hear public comment on the following:

Adoption of the Housing & Community Development Plan.  The plan is available for review on the City’s website at https://bit.ly/3tVNc0V

In light of the COVID 19 (Coronavirus) social distancing advice made by the Governor and CDC and following a declaration by Mayor Grenier, the City is providing Meeting Participation via Zoom Online Conference for your safety. Passcode: 720475.  You can also submit written comments prior to the meeting and send them to 168 Main Street, Berlin, NH 03570 or email them to plaflamme@berlinnh.gov before 4:30pm on Monday March 1, 2021.
